The Suits are the current mainstay of Amundsen and Slade endeavor. Simply put, they are audience-interactive wearable technology devices – to see it put less simply, go to FAQ and delve into the details of the project. The suits present technical possibilities that form the basis of several cabaret acts and audience-interactive game sequences. For more about how we use the suits in performances take a look at Shows/Projects
An array of body patches across both suits allow the players to trigger sound samples via a wireless link to a computer program. In a live setting the custom-built program also allows us to record ourselves, or members of the audience, simply by touching a patch and speaking into a microphone.
The suits can be used either as a stage show, by plugging into a PA system, or by wearing our special Sonic Sideshow headgear - rigged with lights and speakers for free-range performance and walkabout.
