Organza is a traditional dress making material that just happens to conduct electricity. It has a warp of silk and a weft of metalic thread (or in the low rent modern version, nylon and metal-foil wound nylon), so it behaves rather like a very fine ribbon cable (with no insulation), only conducting in one direction unless the threads are bridged. Its used on the mark II and mark III soul suits to make light-weight metalic fabric patches. Visually it shimmers according to changes in the viewing angle. It evokes an aesthetic somewhere between Space-aged and Victorian dress making.
