Who we are:
Aste Amundsen:
Aste is an artist, director, producer, and designer. She was a founder member of Dublin performance group Spacecraft with whom she created interactive shows, parades and immersive environments. She has created a series of shows and acts using game mechanics, the most complex and longest running of these is The Apocalypse Gameshow (nominated for 'Best One-Off Show' at London Cabaret Awards 2012)
In 2013 Aste worked for MS Stubnitz in London acting as liaison with Canary Wharf and programming a 3 month season of events focusing on tech-art-performance, digital and kinetic arts, technology and gaming.
She staged Genet's The Balcony as night-time festival theatre (in an Art Deco wardrobe), co-founded Glastonbury’s notorious underground piano-bar, and as a circus performer, could sometimes be found hanging upside down on a rope singing Jacques Brel songs and playing the accordion.
Aste studied Design For Performance at CSM, is a previous recipient of the Norwegian Arts Council's Artists Salary and a recent participant on the AHRC-funded Story Innovation Program at Roehampton University.

Nathaniel Slade:
Nathaniel is a programmer, artist, musician and maker -with degree in music and physics from Edinburgh University. He works in MaxMSP, does sound design and musical arrangement, interaction design,, mechanics, carpentry and technical prop making.
He developed the "Sonic Soul Suit' midi-triggered costumes that formed the basis for many of Sonic Sideshows performances. He also built a "Room Ghost" sound art installation in homage to Alvin Lucia, a Waterwheel-Powered Beats-Sequencer that reads audience drawings, a prototype 'sonic trapeze' and a 'machine' for learning mentalism -among other things.
Recent work include new audience profiling and interaction technology for Apocalypse Gameshow (in collaboration with Paul Hanson) a live sound-stage including audio-cut up engines for an AG radio pilot (with Jack Tame) -and working with Arcola Theatre/Energy teaching kids about alternative energy through racing hydrogen-powered model cars.
He has also recorded three albums, performed as a guest of Amanda Palmer, and the Eddie Martin blues band. and been supporting musician for David Hoyle, La JohnJoseph, and Ophelia Bitz.
In 2005 he was Greenman for the annual ritual Beltane performance produced by Edinburgh’s Beltane Fire Society.

Paul Hanson:
Paul Hanson is a data analyst, programmer, technician and DJ.
Using his skills in SQL, PHP, VBA and Excel he collects and analyses data, build web-tools and spreadsheet solutions for various not-for-profit organisations. He also runs theatre production company ArtWank with his partner, Ophelia Bitz. They specialise in blending video projection with performance.
Paul has worked with Sonic Sideshow on the Apocalypse Gameshow – building a database back-end and a php front-end for a player induction and profiling system. This system collates scores from various activities, providing on-stage access to the data and generating Top Trump-style graphics which form part of the in-game visuals. He also collaborated on the Sonic Tapestry commission – working with Nathaniel to miniaturise the system running the program and its interface with the tapestry.
Paul is an ex ballroom dancing champion, recovering vintage porn archivist and incurable lover of data.
