Sonic Soul Suit Shows/Acts
The Motown Chainsaw Massacre
Human Xylophone (Walkabout)
Audience play Sonic Sideshow like a walking human instrument. This is achieved using our special "Electric Spoons". We record samples from the audience as we go – compiling an avant-garde brew of beat-boxing, blasphemy and belching, play along with bands and DJ’s, interact with passers by and facilitate all manner of improvisations... |
The Sticky Funk Infection
A game in three rounds where audience choose and wear a musical suit. Stings and loops from a well known tune is uploaded to their Sonic Soul Suit and they battle it out with another player with another set of samples. First round is freestyle jamming, second is a test of reach. The third and final round involves 'infecting' the other player with your own sounds by touching all their patches, eradicating their tune and replacing it with your own infectious sounds. Reigning champions take all comers. Musical suits from Mozart to Salt-N-Pepa |
Audience Interactive Sonic Shoot-Em-Up
A game in which we choose two feisty members of the audience, strap them into the suits and shamelessly incite them into a bare-knuckle sound fight. Strapped together at the waist, the adversaries cannot flee as, with the help of the audience, they record rib-cracking blood-curdling fighting sounds onto their body patches. We let them at each other with Ennio Moricones The Good, The Bad and The Ugly as a backing-track – the audience keeps score, and we referee as the sonic carnage unfolds.

Custom Themed Shows
With samples being our stock-in-trade the suits easily lend themselves to custom themes of all sorts. Our favorite to date involved fusing Boris Johnson’s vocal bungling with Girls Aloud to create a one-off Sonic Sideshow serenade for the Borris Keep Your Promise campaign. Whatever the occasion, whether serious or frivolous if you have an idea pretty much anything is possible! |
